Dr. Karin Schnarr is an Assistant Professor, Policy at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada where she teaches business strategy at the undergraduate and executive MBA levels. Her current research focuses on corporate governance, global healthcare management and innovation, and organizational deviance. Before earning her MBA and PhD at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Dr. Schnarr served in senior roles in government including Chief of Staff at a number of ministries in the Ontario government. She also held roles in the private sector as a senior strategy, corporate communications and crisis management consultant to executive-level clients. Dr. Schnarr is a National Council Member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and has served on the board of a number of not-for-profit organizations.
